Local shuttle business to offer convenient and affordable transportation

August 24, 2023

Back in 2010, ‘The Raglan Shuttle Co’ -Turf to Surf was born, based on the idea to offer a regular shuttle service linking Raglan, Hamilton, and Auckland to both locals and travellers.

Since then, Raglan Shuttle has had many iterations/owners and has provided services to and from Airports, wedding locations and local accommodation.

Fast forward to late 2022, following the knock-on effect of the pandemic, the business was sold, and the new owners are passionate about not only re-instating the service, but looking for ways to improve transportation services to, from, and around Raglan.

Since late November 2022, Raglan Shuttle has successfully transported close to 3,000 passengers, ranging from Airport Transfers, Local Government, Weddings, Elopements, Conferences, local excursions for Schools and Clubs to name a few.

The website has since been refreshed, and a new online booking system is now in place with routes and pricing clearly available to view and book.

Exciting Changes Ahead:

A little over 8 months in, Raglan Shuttle has moved the operational base out to the Nau Mai Business Park, well suited and located just 4 minutes out of town. The existing vehicles have been upgraded, and there are plans in the near future to extend both the fleet, and local offerings in food, health, and transportation options to benefit the local Raglan community.

Look out for updates both here in the Chronicle, and on social media soon…
