Enjoy A packaging-free Easter at SWOP!

April 11, 2023

With Easter upon us, SWOP is the perfect place to get those chocolate treats without all that foil packaging. Chocolate pretzels, chocolate ginger, and hokey pokey just to name a few!

Or maybe you appreciate a great hot cross bun and with a few days off you’ve got that extra time to bake! Pop down to SWOP to grab everything you would need in just the right quantities. We have Hot Cross Bun kits made up ready to go or The Alternative Bread Co. gluten free spicy fruit bread; just add a few ingredients and you have the freshest hot cross buns out.  We will be open for all your refilling needs on Sunday 9th April and Monday 10th April from 10am – 4pm. There may even be a few treats to find in store.

For the month of April, we have our annual buy any spice and get a free jar with it so you can begin your refilling journey. Small changes add up to big savings and an even bigger impact on our environment. By refilling your herbs and spices you pay on average a ¼ of the price of your average supermarket. We often hear people say they are worried that shopping at SWOP will be more expensive than the supermarket but often you find when buying only the quantities you need, you reduce your food waste, and the prices are lower. We aim to source products of the highest quality and as local as we can to ensure we can create circular systems with our producers. Our local offerings include Dreamview yoghurt including the new Boysenberry flavour, Raglan chocolate, Raglan-made soaps, Raglan Candles, local honey, Baboo Boutique baby items and Hunt & Gather beeswax wraps.

We would love for you to come in and see for yourself!
