Shop local at the Raglan iHub

December 12, 2022

Are you ready for Christmas? As we enter summer and the festive season ahead, the Raglan Whaingaroa iHub is brimming with local festive ideas to help you with your Christmas shopping list.

Not only is the iHub a community information centre, there is also a huge array of locally made products on offer made with love by local artisans.

Looking for that special and unique condiment to go with your summer party food platter? Then you won’t want to go past ‘Foraged in Raglan’. Check out Bea’s range of delicious goodies from midsummer pickles to festive treats – all made with love using local produce.

Get ready for summer reading for yourself and as gifts with a great selection of local authors’ books on offer for both adults and children. There is also beautiful handmade silver and copper jewellery, as well as earrings from Metal Moon, Labyrinth, Jessica Porch, and FE Rooney.

The Raglan Recycling Co-op always have a great range of upcycled clothing; in store right now is a new collection of fabulous aprons. Di Jennings and Hazel Lewis – part of the co-op team – say ‘all of us love creating something new out of something old’.

You can find all of this and lots more shopping ideas at the iHub, open 7 days a week 10am – 3pm daily. Our iHub volunteers would love to help you choose the perfect local gift for your whanau and friends.
