Fresh New Menu and Cocktails at Orca Eatery & Bar

December 23, 2022

The team at Orca are delighted to announce a fresh change to our menus in time for summer. Our Head Chef Joewi has been working with our managers to bring you fresh new flavours to go with our delicious Toasted Espresso coffee and expanded range of drinks.

Our team believes that delicious food, tasty drinks, and great times shared with friends and family is what matters.

We are a casual, down-to-earth eatery overlooking the harbour where you can join us for a coffee catch up, a bite to eat, or for a special dinner to celebrate milestones with friends and family.

The day menu is full of layered, rich flavours. Brunch is delicious paired with Toasted Espresso’s hand roasted AA7 Blend; this is a delicious, smooth coffee, produced by our professional Baristas. Slide into lunchtime by checking out our local Workshop Brewing Co beers or firm Waikato favourites Good George brews. The wine list is extensive, with a choice for everyone, and we have extended the Gin selection for summer.

With new platters and fresh new cocktails, we have sunny afternoons sorted – come join us on the deck looking over the harbour with an extended Happy Hour from 3-6pm. Share a platter filled with juicy cutlets or opt for a range of our small plates shared tapas style. Throw in a jug of summer sangria or your favourite cocktails at $20 for two and you have a great afternoon with mates.

Dinner can be a casual experience in the bar with friends or we can host you in the restaurant for a special evening. The sun sets over the harbour mouth adding to a beautiful atmosphere, along with some chilled tunes. Enjoy your small plates tapas style or choose from a range of mains and summer desserts to finish.

We hope you join us this summer to experience great times at Orca.
