Community Christmas lunch goes picnic style

December 15, 2021

The annual community Christmas lunch returns again for those in our community who need a little bit of extra Christmas cheer.

Yes, Santa will be there with gifts for the children and music will be performed by noted local musicians.

Bring a rug, blanket and/or chair if you wish to take advantage of the spacious lawn under the trees to picnic.

To choose your delicious Christmas lunch, COVID protocol will follow government guidelines. So everyone must use the tracer app and wear a mask when entering the hall.

Lunch options will include:

Christmas meats of ham, turkey and spit roasted lamb with all the trimmings;

or a seafood option of salmon and mussels;

or a vegetarian option.

All meals will be served with a variety of salads, hot vegetables and a dessert.

Drinks will be available.

This community event has been made possible through the goodwill and energy of many in our community. A huge THANK YOU for the donations of food, talent, expertise, and community service. Thank you also for the generosity and backing of the Raglan Hospital Trust.

Please enjoy your Christmas Day and celebrate with us!
