RAFFA Red Carpet ceremony goes virtual

September 23, 2021

The Raglan Arts Film Festival Awards (RAFFA) Red Carpet Awards night will go virtual this year with an awards ceremony filmed and announced via social media.

Due to the current COVID Alert level 2, it is with regret the film festival team have had to cancel the RAFFA Red Carpet evening scheduled to be held in the Raglan Town Hall on Saturday the 25th September.

Not prepared to let a pandemic stand in the way, the team will deliver the awards to the winners and capture the moment on film.

This year, Raglan producers, directors, editors and actors have prepared a feast of fabulous short films, from a lemon revenge to rebellious teens and revolutionary recycling to trans-Tasman bubble etiquette – and much, much more.

The RAFFA entrants’ films will be screened at the Old School on Mon 20 Sept at 6.30pm, Tues 21 Sept at 6.30pm and Sun 26 Sept at 4.30 and 6.30pm following the guidelines as set out by the Government – entry is by koha.

To watch the award ceremony check out our website and Facebook page for more updates.
