The Raglan community once again celebrated Māui Dolphin Day on Saturday March 3, at Te Kopua/Papahua Domain with food and activity stalls as well as information and workshops provided for attendees.
Another highlight of Raglan’s annual event calendar, the Xtreme Zero Waste Recycled Raft Race, was held the same day with plenty of enthusiastic competitors turning up with their homemade vessels.

A massive THANK YOU from Whaingaroa Environment Centre to everyone who helped make Maui Dolphin Day 2018 so much fun! Our main sponsors were DOC, Raglan Lions and WWF. Dizzy Blocks sponsored the beach clean. Countdown Dinsdale, Sodastream, SHOTT bevarages and Tio Pablo donated food for the WEC Nacho stall. Thanks to everyone who entertained us (Te Rōpū Aroha Ki Te Reo, Sambatron, Artemis, Tux, Raglan Area School kids, and our MC – X-Man!).
