Day Programmes – An excellent introduction if you have never been in a rest home setting. We offer assistance during the day; typically, people arrive between 9 and 10am to participate in the day’s events, mingle with others, participate in activities e.g., bowls, art, gardening, music, happy hour. Eat morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea before leaving for home. Raglan Rest Home and Hospital hold a contract for this type of support during the day, from one day to a whole week. Funding may be available – contact the Needs Assessment Coordination Service (DSL) for more information. Private funding is welcome.
Meals on Wheels – We offer a Meals-on-Wheels service within the Raglan township. Our dedicated volunteer drivers deliver hot meals daily (at midday). There is a choice of a main and dessert or a main meal on its own. There are vegetarian options, and individual dietary needs can be catered for. The cost is $9.00 per day for a main meal, or $12.50 with a dessert.
