We’re hoping for a really good turnout of dogs and humans this second time around for the unique Rag Dog Muster.
It’s not a race, or even a competition – just a great opportunity to join other dog-lovers on a fun walk or run along a 10.9km circuit – where you decide how far and how fast you and your company want to go. At any point you can turn around and head back to the start at Papahua Reserve to relax and enjoy music (courtesy of Raglan Radio) and a sausage sizzle (provided by Anexa). If you like, come dog-less with a friend (or friends) to enjoy the special experience of being surrounded by happy dogs of all shapes and sizes…..
The circuit heads along to Ngarunui Beach, climbs up to the Wainui reserve, negotiates 2 stiles, and circles around the beautiful Wainui Bush Reserve, before returning the same way to the Papahua Reserve. (10.9km)
Everyone who registers will be recognizing our hard-working dedicated staff at the Raglan Veterinary Clinic as well as helping fund the work they do rehoming unwanted and stray animals.

Dogs and humans will need to check in between 7am and 8.45am at Papahua Reserve. The Muster begins at 9am. Best paw forward. Woof, woof, woof. See you there!
