It is Thursday and the time is 4.45pm! Tee Off time! Teams gather… there is a golfing buzz about, tees are loaded, and it’s GAME ON! WHACK!! SWISH!! BIFF!!
Golf balls fly down the 10th fairway with Whoops and Yells from team mates!!
And so the pattern goes on for the next 9 holes as Twilight Golf fills our world each Thursday evening.
“Twilight Golf is very social, there are loads of laughs, and we all get to wind down and enjoy the week’s end! We’ve even got Kaiwaka Food Truck delivering mouth watering dinner delights after your round!” said co- organiser Pete Aim.
With 53 golfers participating on opening night it was all go last Thursday. Twilight runs for 8 weeks from 26th January to 16th March. There are different competitions to keep things interesting and challenging. There are prizes of meat packs, confectionaries, chickens and other giveaways!
