Huge weekend lineup at the YOT Club

March 14, 2019

This week brings one of the best lineups that the Yot Club has seen lately with three outstanding international groups artists from Holland, Australia and Russia, as well as the fastest rising rock band in NZ at the moment.

We better throw in that we are promoting the Regurgitator, Cindy, Cheshire Grimm and Brother Sister  shows at Whammy Bar  in Auckland on Friday too.

Thursday has The Dutch three-piece who we can’t name. It is 100% who you all think it is.

Weather is looking good for Thursday evening outside and the many hundreds of you who have seen them outside the last two times know how spectacular the gigs have been. Doors from 6pm. Tickets $20. Happy hour from 6pm with DJ on the decks and food caravan available for a romantic pre-gig dining options.

After 10 pm the cover charge will be $10 with Green Stratos playing inside with DJ Dan Wilcox aka Sweep.

Friday has Villainy with support from Meridian Core and local band making their debut Silver Surfer .Villainy have exploded onto the NZ Rock landscape in the last few years playing with Shihad ,Incubus etc.

They requested the show as warm up for Homegrown so expect a monster of a gig .There will be door sales but to make sure the ticket link is below .

Saturday brings 90s indie-rock darlings Regurgitator to the Yotty. This is a massive coup for us. The Gurge have a huge following here and for good reason.

They take element of rock hip hop electronic funk and humour combine it one of the top OZ drummers and often hard hitting lyrical content to create a sound uniquely their own.

In a world of imitations no one sounds anything like Regurgitator .They have won every music award possible in Australia and have been playing sold out gigs everywhere on the back of their recent album Headroxx .With huge support from Threat v Protocol and Illicit Wah Wahz this will be a gig for the ages . There will definately be door sales but to be sure pre buy https://www.undertheradar.co.nz/.

Finally to cap off a sick four days of music the Sunday Sessions will have as a special guest DJ Vadim .(Russia) Vadim is revered in hip hop circles both as a producer and a Dj .Vadim has worked with such giants as Public Enemy . Prince and Stevie Wonder and with his fusion of hip hop reggae .and soul and has constantly pushed hip hops boundaries .Huge support from King Macka and Jinja Cat ,Snead St Project and DJ Sweep.

So four huge days .Hopefully there is something there for everyone.
